Doug Bruno Basketball Camp

I went to Doug Bruno girls' basketball camp this summer, and it was my second time. Doug Bruno is the head women's basketball coach at DePaul University, and he has been doing these camps for a very long time. Last summer I did a fundamental camp, but this year I did the shooting camp. My goal is to become a really good shooter. It was great and I learned about how to practice. Coach Bruno said you have to take camp home with you. He not only taught us about basketball, but about how to be succesfull in life, by teaching us the 6 steps to success.
I was very successfull in camp. Our 5 on 5 team made it to the championship. I did pretty good in the 1 on 1 tournament by winning for my color. I got a medal for tying for the most power layups in a minute and a half -- 17. Last, but not least, I won the Gavin Most Valuable Player award for ABL. (The camp is divided into three groups, based on ability. College is lowest, ABL is middle, and WNBA is the highest.)
I had an awesome camp experience and learned a lot. It's a great camp to go to if you love basketball and are serious about improving a lot.
